Round Tablecloth Sizes
Measure the diameter of your table, then add twice the required drop to work out the correct round tablecloth size.
Example: A 6ft / 72" round table with a 130" / 330cm round tablecloth gives approximately a 29" / 73.5cm drop all around.
Rectangular & Square Tablecloth Sizes
Measure the table width and length, then allow enough extra cloth for the drop on each side and each end.
Example: A standard 6ft trestle table, 30" x 72" / 76cm x 183cm, with an 83" x 126" / 210cm x 320cm tablecloth gives an approximately 27" drop on the sides and ends.
What Tablecloth Drop Should I Choose?
The best drop depends on how the table will be used. These practical starting points work well for most tables.
Everyday Dining Around 8–12" / 20–30cm for a practical drop that leaves comfortable leg room.
Formal Dining, Events & Hospitality Around 10–15" / 25–38cm for a fuller, more dressed appearance.
Near Floor Length Approximately the table height — usually around 29–30" / 74–76cm on a standard table.
